What to Expect From a Personal Styling Session at Style Curated
Share
One of my favorite parts of owning Style Curated is the one-on-one time I get with women who are ready to feel good in their clothes again. But I know booking a "personal styling session" can feel a little intimidating if you've never done it. Will I be pressured to buy? Do I need to know what I want? What if nothing fits?
I promise, it's so much more relaxed than you think. Here's exactly what to expect.
First, Pick the Session That Fits Your Goals
I offer a few different ways to work together, and every one of them starts with you: your lifestyle, your body and what you want to feel when you get dressed.
In-Store Styling is the easiest place to start. It's a private, 60-minute appointment with me in the boutique for $150, and that full amount is credited toward anything you buy during your session or within 7 days of it. Book an in-store styling session.
Targeted Styling is a 2-hour session for $450, virtual or in your home, focused on one goal like a travel wardrobe, refreshed work looks or an upcoming event. We'll create up to 10 complete outfits from your closet plus new pieces, and I'll photograph every look so you have your own lookbook.
Closet Refresh is $225 per hour, with a 4-hour minimum. Most refreshes take 4 to 8 hours, so I split the work into two separate sessions on two different days, which gives you time to breathe in between. We'll edit and reorganize your closet together, build a capsule from what you already own and make a list of the pieces that would complete it. You can book Targeted Styling or a Closet Refresh as a style consultation.
And if you want something bigger, like a full wardrobe rebuild or support through a life transition, Customized Styling Packages are designed around you. Every package starts with a discovery call so we can focus on exactly what matters most.
What Happens During an In-Store Session
When you arrive, we'll start with a quick chat. I'll ask how you spend your days, what you love in your closet, what never gets worn and what's frustrating you. Then I'll start pulling pieces while you settle into the fitting room.

This is a pressure-free zone. You can be as hands-on or hands-off as you like. Some clients want to browse with me, and others love having me bring everything to them. Either way, I'll give you honest, supportive feedback on fit and silhouette, and we'll experiment with a few things you might never have picked up on your own.

Building Outfits That Actually Work Together
My goal isn't to sell you a bag full of random pieces. It's to help you build outfits you'll wear again and again. I usually start with versatile foundations, like a great pair of jeans such as the Favorite Daughter Valentina and a polished shirt like the Rails Carolyn Shirt, then show you how to dress them up or down.

From there, we'll layer in pieces that do double duty. The Rails Deidre Jacket works over a dress for dinner or a sweater for errands. The Michael Stars Shania Midi Skirt looks just as good with a cozy knit as it does with a blouse, and the Silent D Naydo Boot takes all of it from the office to brunch.

What You'll Walk Away With
By the end of our time together, you'll know which fits and silhouettes work best for your body, a few outfit formulas you can repeat without thinking and, most importantly, a lot more confidence. And getting dressed in the morning should feel a whole lot easier.
Ready to Book?
If you've been thinking about it, this is your sign. Book your in-store styling session, or schedule a discovery call if you'd like to talk through the options first. You can also read more about every session on our Personal Styling Services page.
I can't wait to meet you and help you love your closet again.
