Why We Bring in Limited Quantities Per Style

People ask me this all the time, usually while holding up something they love: "Is this the only one?" Most of the time the answer is yes, or close to it. So here's the honest reason why.

A few sizes per style, on purpose

When I opened Style Curated in 2023, I knew I didn't want racks packed so tight you can't see anything. I'd rather bring in a smaller number of pieces I truly love, in just a few sizes each, and switch things up often.

That means when you walk in, you're not digging. Everything on the floor is something I picked because I think it fits well, feels good, and will actually get worn.

What it means for you

• Less overwhelm. You can see the whole shop in one visit and actually enjoy it.
• Pieces chosen for real bodies. I think about fit and fabric first, not just what's trending.
• Honest help. Because I know every piece, I can tell you what's going to work for you (and what isn't).
• Brands I know well. Buying this way lets me build real relationships with the brands we carry, like Rails, Michael Stars, Lilla P and Favorite Daughter.

The one downside

If you love something, don't wait too long! When a style is gone, it's usually gone. We don't do holds, since we carry so few of each piece, but if your size is gone, just ask about special ordering. I can't always promise it, but most of the time I'm able to get it in for you.

It's a slower, more intentional way to run a shop, and it's the opposite of fast fashion. Honestly, that's exactly why I love it.
